The former Celtic boss confirmed earlier this week that Leicester have rejected two bids from two clubs this summer. The bids have come from Manchester United and Manchester City but it’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side that are leading the chase and are prepared to pay a higher fee than their local rivals. United are expected to test the water again in the next ten days but Rodgers has warned the Red Devils that they will not consider bids past a certain point this summer. But we don’t have to sell. ‘If the valuation isn’t met it certainly won’t be allowed to go to the very end because, if we did want to bring someone in, it would be too late. ‘So there will be a point – even if the valuation is met – it may just be too late.’ More: Manchester United FCBrendan Rodgers fires warning to Manchester United over Harry Maguire transferManchester United 'in advanced talks' to sign Lyon teenager Florent Da SilvaSolskjaer explains plans for Rashford and Martial in Man Utd front three Reports last weekend that the Foxes had agreed a deal to sign Brighton ace Lewis Dunk were premature.
