Christian Pulisic admits he’s had ‘tough’ start to Chelsea career

Chelsea signed the USA international winger from Borussia Dortmund for a club-record £58million fee back in January but the 20-year-old spent the second half of last season back on loan at the Bundesliga club. Pulisic’s involvement in the CONCACAF Gold Cup delayed his start to pre-season training but he belatedly made his deubut as a second half substitute in Friday’s 1-0 defeat against Kawasaki Frontale. The speedy winger, who is likely to represent a direct replacement for Eden Hazard, impressed during a 25-minute cameo appearance but confessed he is still to adjust to his new surroundings and teammates.
