Didier Deschamps tells Unai Emery the best position to play Alexandre Lacazette as he returns to France squad

The attacker has been called up for the first time in a year (Picture: Getty) Didier Deschamps says he is only considering using Alexandre Lacazette through the middle after recalling the Arsenal star to the French national team following a year-long exile. Lacazette has not played for Les Bleus since scoring a brace in a friendly against Germany in November 2017, and has been rather surprisingly absent from subsequent squads – including the World Cup-winning side in Russia. But injury to Anthony Martial has seen Lacazette recalled to the squad, though Deschamps has zero desire to use him on the flank despite Unai Emery toying with utilising him out wide.
