The 21-year-old striker has been in lethal form this season while on loan from Benfica to Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring 19 goals in 19 starts across all competitions. Jovic’s impressive form has peaked the interest of several of Europe’s heavyweights, with Chelsea said to have lodged a near-£40m offer to lure him to Stamford Bridge. Real Madrid and Barcelona are thought to be monitoring his situation, with Frankfurt already believed to have taken up their option to buy him at the end of his loan spell.
