The Spanish champions are exploring alternatives to Matthijs de Ligt as the Dutch centre-back appears on course to sign for Juventus. And Lindelof is on Barca’s shortlist, although United have told the club that they have no plans to sell the Sweden international this summer. Lindelof is currently with United’s squad for the start of their pre-season tour in Australia and the defender’s agent admits Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side must be the ones to instigate negotiations for a transfer to happen.
